Security labels are intended to prevent tampering or indicate that it has taken place. For this purpose, the label material can be "destructable" - meaning that it can not be removed in one piece. Alternatively, as an even greater precaution, the label can be printed with the word "void" repeated in the background layer so that it delaminates from the label if the label is removed and thus can not be reapplied, complete, to other equipment.
